This is a personal site. Nothing is sold here, there is no newsletter and there are no ads. The only way I collect anything about you is if you write to me through the contact form, and I use it to reply.
Who handles your data

What I collect
Only what you type into the contact form:
- Your name.
- Your email address.
- The reason you pick from the list.
- The message you write.
What I use it for
To read your message and reply, and to follow up on whatever you bring: a job opportunity, a project, a question or a collaboration.
The legal basis is handling the request you sent me and, where it applies, taking steps at your request before any agreement. For general questions or collaborations, I rely on the legitimate interest of replying to contact you started yourself.
The checkbox only confirms that you have read this information; it does not authorise marketing messages.
If you don't fill in the form, I collect nothing.
What I never do with it
- I don't use it for advertising.
- There is no newsletter and no marketing email.
- I don't sell it or hand it to anyone for their own purposes.
- I don't build profiles or make automated decisions about you.
Who else sees it
Two technical services, each for one thing only:
- Netlify, where the site is hosted.
- Resend, which delivers the email with your message to me.
Where your data is handled
Netlify and Resend are US companies, so your data may be handled outside the European Economic Area.
Both state in their documentation that they rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses and that they adhere to the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. I can't independently verify how far those safeguards reach: below are their own legal pages, which is where the terms in force are set out.
How long I keep it
As long as I need to reply and to follow up on whatever we discussed. After that, only for as long as may be necessary.
If you want it deleted sooner, write to me and I'll take care of it.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies. There is no analytics, no advertising, no social buttons that follow you and no third-party scripts.
The only thing stored in your browser is whether you prefer light or dark mode. It stays on your device, never reaches me and identifies nobody. That's why there is no cookie banner: there would be nothing to ask about.
Your rights
You can ask me for access to your data, ask me to correct or delete it, object to my handling it or ask me to restrict its use, along with any other rights that apply to you. For any of that, write to francorossidev@gmail.com.
If you think I've got something wrong, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (Agencia Española de Protección de Datos).
